Dan Szabo

Dan’s love of fitness started when he first took up running as a challenge at the age of

fifteen, motivating himself by running first up one street and then the next, and then the next

until he was hooked. He started hitting the gym soon after, and it was while he was attending

the University of Law in Hungary that he began to realise just how good exercise (both in the

gym, but also activities such as rock climbing and martial arts) made him feel, both

physically, healthwise, and mentally.

He decided he wanted to make other people feel the same and experience not just high

levels of fitness, but confidence and wellbeing too. Dan moved to London, and qualified as a

personal trainer, using Crossfit methodology, in 2014. Dan has several years of experience

in one-on-one personal training, working enthusiastically and energetically with clients from

every walk of life, from teenagers to postnatal mothers to older clients and both novice and

experienced athletes; he takes much joy in seeing people discover what they’re capable of

and realising they can achieve their goals.

Having always enjoyed the benefits of Crossfit training himself, it was a natural and logical

transition to become a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer. For Dan, nothing beats the feeling of seeing

his clients transform and becoming healthier and stronger in every aspect of their lives. He

loves bringing people into the Crossfit community. He says, “Crossfit is highly effective and it

leaves you with so much more energy; you get stronger, faster, and prepares you for the

unknowable, as if you’re ready for anything.”
